On Friday we got hit with a heavy ice storm. Most of the surrounding areas were/still are without power. On Saturday we were out Christmas Shopping and took a ride through the boat launch thinking the river would be frozen but it wasn't. This is the Dutchman's boat launch and the bridge in the background is the Rip Van Winkle Bridge (it connects Greene and Columbia Counties).

It looks like a great place to take a walk with some nice scenic views. We just got a snow storm last night and the winds are whipping strong outside. But fortunately the sun just made its appearance. Out into Nature I go. Merry Christmas
If I were in this place I would bring food and stay all day to relax. It's really beautiful!
