It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in my part of the world. This past weekend Jeff and I drove around looking at the various Christmas Displays. Our first stop was at Frosty Fest in Ulster Park, NY. It is a drive through light display. It was our first time visiting this particular display it was okay but not what we expected (we have been to something similar in Albany and we prefer that one over Frosty Fest. Frosty Fest was nice but expensive $10 a person and it was very small it took about 10 minutes to drive through and that was taken our time vs. the one in Albany takes an hour if not more to go through and is $15 a car regardless the # of people in the car). Remember to click on the photo's to see all the detail.
The first 3 photos are from Frosty Fest
These next 2 photos were taken on our way back home from Frosty Fest. I'm not sure if this is some one's home but what an amazing setup they have. Even the barn was decked out in lights!! If you click on the first photo in this group you will see Santa stuck in the chimney. This is awesome!! We enjoyed this display more then we did Frosty Fest.
The last 2 photos were taken in Saugerties NY. This light display is Courtesy of the Saugerties Kiwans. This is another spectacular display, this display we visit every year. I love the skaters on the little pond.
Hope you enjoyed the tour of my world. Hop over to That's My World to visit towns from all of the global.

I just love driving around and looking at all of the Christmas lights. They are so pretty.
lovely Christmas lights. it's such a magical time of year.
Nice pictures of the festive lights. I have tried to take pictures of Christmas lights this month but it is challenging to get a good picture without a tripod. Thanks for sharing the cheer!
Lots of beautiful lights where you live.. been too cold here to decorate outdoors yet.. thanks for sharing
You are right the last photos are more inspiring than those of Frosty Fest. Thanks for showing.
Chrissy: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in your world.
Hmmm. You have to PAY to see Christmas lights? They are very pretty...but I prefer the free variety. ;-)
nice lights

Now that's going above and beyond. It must have been fun to be there.
Great photos! Lights are so hard to take pictures of, but yours came out great. I would have enjoyed that.
Isn't amazing what some fols create with light. I just love this time of the year! Seems so plain & sad when we lose all that color the beginning of the year. Thnaks for sharing yours.
