At ABC Wednesday this week is the Letter P for Pumpkins. These photos were taken this past September at the Big E Fair in Massachusetts. That large pumpkin weighs 908 lbs!!! That was the new Big E Fair record. You can click on the photos to enlarge

Pumpkin is a perfect choice for P, especially at this time of year! A local gardener also raises giant pumpkins, but I have no idea how much his weighed. They are pretty amazing to see.

ReplyDeleteI have started a diet which, in the first phase, does not allow me to eat products with sugar such as carrots AND Punpkins! It is really hard but I am making an effort, as I love pumpkin sopu, pumpkin cake, pumpkin juice, etc!
Please don't forget next week we'll have to find words with «Q»... HELP!!
